Preference vs. usability

Every user is a vital source of a product or service. At times we tend to ignore their genuine needs for a usable / useful solution, prefering to our comfort and assumptions.

Most of the small needs of the user can be addressed and provided in the development life cylce of a solution rather than restructing everything, again.

User is everything, period.

Human beings in this modern world have become concious about the usefulness of a product or service. In this world where usability has become almost mandaory and the considering the growth of awareness, Customer/User-Centric approach is the baseline that all the service operators would like to touch upon.

A sense of belongingness and emotion towards a product will attract more user and thus more business. I understand that business returns and ROI is a by-product of usability and not vice-versa.

Predicability in service design pattern.

A predictable service/business/product architecutre design will achieve the business needs. Approach should start from visual representation and go on to functionality and task flow and till the SOA
